WELFARE
Firstly, regular welfare programs are organized to provide food items, including — staple foods and packaged/canned items, ensuring widows and their families have access to nourishment.
The Total Life Concern (TLC) is dedicated to enhancing the welfare of indigent widows and orphans. Families that have lost their breadwinners face uncertainty and struggle to provide for themselves, exposing them to unfavourable circumstances. TLC focuses on improving the welfare of widows through comprehensive programs.
Secondly, TLC conducts medical outreach programs, offering free healthcare services, check-ups, medications, and health items to widows and orphans.
Additionally, financial aid is provided after thorough assessments, enabling widows to establish income-generating businesses and meet their families needs, Skills acquisition workshops and seminars are also organized to equip widows and orphans with valuable skills for incomegeneration. TLC assists in procuring trade tools and provides support to existing businesses in need of additional skills or resources.
Through these initiatives, TLC aims to empower and uplift indigent widows and orphans, improving their overall well-being.
COUNSELLING
The death of a husband/father profoundly affects families, leaving behind deep psychological scars that can hinder their ability to move forward. Many widows retreat into a state of emotional pain and worry, unsure of how to carry on after such a loss. If not properly addressed, these fragile emotional states can contribute to dangerous health situations.
At Total Life Concern, we strive to create an inclusive environment that supports grieving widows in their journey to rediscover themselves within society. Through group and individual counselling programs, we establish a community of love and care to bring brightness back into the lives of widows. Regular gatherings are organized to foster physical, spiritual, and mental well-being, acknowledging the importance of addressing all aspects of their lives.
We understand the challenges faced in coping with the sudden loss of a loved one, which is why we offer spiritual counselling and mental wellness programs to help fill the void caused by their bereavement. These initiatives are designed to uplift widows, providing them with the necessary support to heal and regain a sense of purpose and joy in their lives
LEGAL SERVICES
The Total Life Concern (TLC) is dedicated to upholding the dignity of human life by providing indigent widows and orphans with essential support. Recognizing that accessing legal representation can be costly, especially when dealing with the loss of a loved one,
TLC offers free legal services to widows in need. In many cases, men pass away without leaving behind wills, leading to disputes over properties and assets. TLC steps in to navigate the legal processes, ensuring that widows are not deprived of what rightfully belongs to them. With a commitment to giving widows and orphans a voice in society, TLC ensures that those who require it have access to adequate legal representation when needed, all without any cost to them.
